The Anna University is a technical university. The University was established on 4 September 1978 through Tamil Nadu Act with offering various Undergraduate and postgraduate degree and diploma courses in various fields. It became an affiliating university in 2001. The University was split into six constituent universities namely Chennai (campus), Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Tiruchirappalli and Tirunelveli. The university offers various courses such as MBBS, MDS, BDS, M.Sc., B.Sc. Nursing, Post basic B.Sc. nursing, B.A.S.L.P., D. Pharm, B. Pharm and M.Pharm. Every year the University conducts Tamil Nadu Professional Courses Entrance Examination (TNPC EE) for providing admission in various professional courses. The University is located at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The University conducts written examination for various courses according to semester format and also conducts in annual format. This year also the University is conducting various UG and PG written examination. After successfully conducted the written examination, the university will announced the University Results 2015 on its official website.
