The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), In accordance with the provisions of Section 23 of the RTE Act, decided the minimum qualifications for a person to be eligible for the post of teacher for class I to VIII. According to RTE Act, the candidate should pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) which will be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted 9th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) and invited applications at official web site ctet.nic.in. TET qualification is mandatory for the people who are looking for teaching jobs in the Primary and Higher Secondary level. Large number of candidates has applied and sat for the test conducted by CBSE. Now the candidates are waiting for the CBSE CTET Result to be declared. The department has uploaded answer keys for CTET. Aspirants can predict their marks and cut off marks with the help of answer key.
